When I was growing up, my best friend’s family had an English cocker spaniel who was the most friendly pet I had ever met. Fast forward a few decades, and I now have a family of my own.
A few years ago we wanted to welcome a pet into our family and went about researching many dog breeds to find the perfect fit for us. Not too long after, we were lucky enough to find Ralph the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from a breeder in our local area.
When I first got Ralph, I had many questions about how to best look after him but had trouble finding all the answers online.
After figuring things out by reading, and talking with other breeders and dog trainers, I wanted to create a resource for others to use to find the answers faster and more easily.
So, I started Spaniel Advice with the hope of helping other spaniel owners in the future.
